Mentors/Advisors

Normality Zero Robotics is a student run organization, however, behind every great person, is a great teacher. Team 2559’s mentors play a major role in our overall success as they provide the team aid with both their technical and administrative experiences. Our team is composed of mentors branching from various STEM related fields, including electrical, mechanical, and logic-based programming. Mentors aid students in overall robot design and construction, our mentors tend nudge the students into the right directions, allowing members to learn from experience.

Adam Dawson
Head Mentor
Graduate of Penn State University, Adam has been involved with Normality Zero Robotics since 2010. Currently, Adam is the instructor of Web Development and Design at Dauphin County Technical School. Has a dog named Reggie.
Dean Jacobs
Electrical Mentor
Famously nick named "J", Dean has been the longtime instructor of Electronics Technology at Dauphin County Technical School. As a founding member of Team 2559, Dean has been involved with the team for nearly a Decade. Known for: telling stories of his time spent in industry.
Bill Miller
Mechanical Mentor
Graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Bill holds a degree in Civil Engineering. Since his first FRC season in 2015, Bill has been an integral part of the Mechanical team. Currently, Bill works at TRC Companies, Inc. Known for: his infinite wisdom.
Evan Colarusso
Mechanical Mentor
Graduate of Bucknell University, Evan holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Evan has been involved with Team 2559 since the 2016 FRC season. Previously Evan was was a member of Team 303, T.E.S.T Team. Official Team Name (awarded by Mo) : "Hot Evan"
Rob Baragona
Electrical Mentor
Graduate of Penn State University, Rob holds a degree in Electrical Engineering. Rob has been involved with Normality Zero since the 2016 FRC season. Currently, Rob works at team sponsor TE Connectivity, where he is an Advanced Dev. Engineer. Ultimate Frisbee Skills: Yes
Sara Bohla
Mechanical Mentor
Graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Sara holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Sara's first season with Normality Zero was during 2015. Currently Sara works at TE Connectivity as Americas Team Leader for automation and assembly. Known for: Falling off the face of the earth, and miraculously showing up later.
Alexander King
Electrical Mentor
Graduate of West Virginia University, Alex holds a degree in Electrical Engineering. Alex's first season with team 2559 was 2016. Currently, Alex works at TE Connectivity as a Senior R&D Product Dev. Engineer.
Emilie Tekely
Administrative Mentor/NEM
Emilie holds a degree in Biology, and has been involved with Normality Zero Robotics since 2014. Emilie is also involved in the Science Olympiad Competition, and is Currently a Researcher for Penn State University. Loves horses more than humans (probably).
Mohammad Tanveer
College Mentor
Nicknamed "Mo", graduating c/o 2016. Mo currently attends Harrisburg Area Community College, where he studies Engineering. Not so secretly obsessed with Taylor Swift.
